On the 12th of November I made my public speaking debut.

I spoke, it was in public...I am a public speaker!
I have Marnus Broodryk of the Beancounter Financial Services to thank for that. He decided that he wanted me to speak at the launch of his new office in Harrismith…who was I to say no to that?
Marnus heard my interview with Rian van Heerden on O-fm, then contacted me Facebook and the rest they say is history
Why on earth would Marnus invite someone who is living without money to speak at his launch? Especially when the Beancounter is a firm of accountants trying to get the business of people who are all about making money! Well, if the home page of their website is anything to go by you might understand…this is what it says – “Loosen your tie, get rid of the suit – this isn’t your ordinary accountant!”
Marnus and his team are definitely not ordinary…they are cool, caring and creative. They were great hosts and put on an awesome launch. Their existing clients were extremely happy with them and I am sure they have a few of Harrismith’s residents giving their old (tie wearing) accountants the bad news!
It was a pleasure hanging out with them and seeing them in action.
Marnus, you are going to go very far…I wish you all the success in the world.
Thank you for giving me my break as a public speaker!
