So, if you know me well you have heard me talk for AGES about having a reality show, and do I have one yet…NO! So, basically this is me saying that I am tired of living in my head I am going ahead with what I have and having faith that the help I need will come.

I want to create 2 shows, one about my life living without money, that one will be called No Money Guy. The other will be about Ubuntu in the modern world and it will tell stories of people projects and businesses that make the world better.
So, if there is anyone out there who knows about making TV, Film, online videos…anything of that nature and you wanna be a part of creating reality show…lemme know! Even if you just want to help me brainstorm and get some of my ideas into some kind of proposal or pitch that would be extremely valuable. Thank you.

My name is Adin, and I live in Cape Town in South Africa. I am trying to enter the Your OWN Show competition with Oprah and Mark Burnett. It’s a reality show talent search where the winner gets their own talk show on the Oprah Winfrey Network! The trouble is that my application was rejected because I am not a US resident and don’t have the right to work in the states.

The thing is, I don’t want and can’t accept a salary because I am one year into a 5 year experiment to live without money! (you can check out my website www.adin.co.za) As the No Money Guy, I would be happy to ‘work’ in the states but because I wasn’t getting paid would that not bypass the green card / right to work situation?
So, I am hoping that the producers, or Oprah herself would make an exception for me if they knew my unique circumstances.

My show will be about making a difference in the world and that would be reward enough for doing it.

A few months ago I met a guy called Jean-Pierre Hartmann. He added me on Facebook after hearing about my story. In fact, that isn’t exactly how it happened…
He heard about my story, thought I was an urban legend, then overheard me talking about my tattoos at a mutual friends beach party. He then contacted me on FB when he new I was real!

JP was intrigued by my experiment, and after having some experience on the Talent Exchange (AKA: Community Exchange System, www.ces.org.za) offered me a trade. JP is an inspired massage therapist and breathworker, and offered me the following deal – one massage for a review on his fan page, Jean-Pierre’s Massage & Breathwork – and I agreed.

I found JP to be very warm and kind, the kind of person I would like to be friends with (which we are now…not just on FB) I was keen to experience more of his work. I had to come up with another thing to trade…

My friends at Consciousness Coaching had recently offered me 5 of their 4-day personal growth and consciousness development programs called Master 1 – the Awareness Process. Here is a video that I put on Youtube explaining in more detail.

I think I am ready to talk about my experience of Inspirational Breathwork. I have completed a course of 5 sessions and I am glad that I waited until the end to write this review. It really is difficult to put into words but I am going to my best.

Up till now we have hosted a couple of events and we have been really pleased with the turnout and interest you have shown.

There are many reasons why Nu-buntu events are important for us:

1. To share our CONCEPT and VISION with you
2. To invite your FEEDBACK and PARTICIPATION
3. To facilitate the EXCHANGING OF IDEAS
4. To facilitate NETWORKING and RELATIONSHIP BUILDING amongst members
5. To inspire the SHIFTING OF BELIEFS and OPENING TO NEW POSSIBILITIES through CONVERSATIONS

A couple of weeks ago we found out that Ellen Degeneres was following Adin on Twitter. Adin and I did a quick video to thank her for following him and to tell her what a huge fan he is of the show.

After we posted it to Facebook. we soon realised that we hardly said a word about the project!
We also realised that people want to know more about the No Money Guy, and we don’t have any videos that answer the questions that people have.
So we came up with FIVE commonly asked questions about Adin, what he does, why he does it and why we need you to be involved.

Some of you may have noticed that our friend Adin has a slight fascination with the number five.
He started this project on the 5th of May.. and plans to give away R555 555 555.55.
During the last month, he has also committed to write a post at least every five days.
Yes.. he likes the number five a lot.

So far, I’ve been working with Adin by assisting him in some of the administration of the project.
Adin started this project on his own, but he’s quickly seen the power of many in action.
I can’t wait to see this community grow… and am excited to play a small part in it.

OMG! Could I be about to meet Ellen?

Why do I want so many friends?

Well, it is not just because I am a ‘friend-a-holic’. I mean I really do love meeting new people and making friends, but it goes further than that. There is a strategy behind it. It is part of the BIG PLAN.

On my 10 month NO MONEY-VERSARY I wrote a blog post entitled WE Is The New Me! In it I said that my goals were too big for me to reach alone. With enough people, and with the right people, anything is possible though and I intend to prove it.

5 days later I wrote a post called Have We Got A Story For You – Ubuntu In the 21^st Century. In it I spoke about building a community of people, a new way of telling stories called Wiki-Ality and making money to give away.

That community is my friends I’ve already made and the friends I am yet to make.
