Trading Coaching For Cooking – That’s How I Roll

Hi guys,

One of the most common questions I get asked is “But how do you get food?”

So far there have been various ways:

  1. When I house sit there is usually food left for me
  2. I get invited to dinner a lot (my friends like to feed me)
  3. When I’m at my folks there is always food, so I’ll never go hungry

The last one has been a bit of an issue for me and for some of my more critical readers. I must say I have to agree with them, the support I have been getting from my parents is the thing I am most grateful and most resentful of at the same…very confusing emotionally let me tell you!

I know I shouldn’t judge where support comes from but the fact that a lot of it has been from my folks kinda feels like cheating, you know what I mean? In return I do my bit to be valuable around the house.  I do things like wash dishes, mow the lawn and generally just try to be as helpful as I can. I definitely and getting more than I am giving and I guess that is where the uneasiness comes in.

Having said all of that, I am please to announce that I have a new way of feeding myself. One that I am proud of and one where I feel like I am giving fair exchange for the food I receive.

How so? I have a new coaching client called Joanne Clegg, she is working on launching a catering company called The Food Crew. And guess what, she pays in food…how cool is that?
